Feel that Rhythm
2020-2022
A youth music and dance project in partnership with English Heritage, Shout Out Loud and Young Music Makers.
Young people took part as musicians, composers and dancers learning about the feel and groove of swing music and dance and reflecting on their own history and heritage in the process. Working with Young Music Makers and tap dancer and musician Annette Walker, we worked in depth with over 50 young people in person and online, two composers and presented two culminating performances in December 2020 and 2021.
